    The ingredients mentioned below use standard measuring cups and spoons.

    2 chicken leg quarters skin on

    1 tablespoon of paprika(substitute with red chilli powder and reduce to 1 teaspoon to give them mild heat)

    1 teaspoon of pepper

    1/2 teaspoon of salt

    1 teaspoon of onion powder

    1 teaspoon of garlic powder

    1 tablespoon of lime or lemon juice

    1 tbsp olive oil(substitute with any light oil)

    Please make sure to read the recipe instructions carefully to avoid mistakes.

    Wash and remove extra trimming of the chicken quarters and leave the skin on.

    Place the chicken quarters on a plate and pat dry with kitchen paper towels to remove excess water.

    Add paprika(1 tbsp, substitute with red chilli powder and reduce to 1 teaspoon to give them mild heat), pepper(1 tsp), salt(1/2 tsp), onion powder(1 tsp), garlic powder(1 tsp), lime or lemon juice(1 tbsp), oil(1 tbsp, olive oil or light oil).

    Rub the spiced into the chicken quarters, cover with cling film and let it marinate for 30 minutes.

    If you are meal prepping, use a zip log bag to marinate and freeze. defrost and use as needed.

    Preheat the air fryer to 350F(190C)for 5 minutes.

    Once preheated, place the chicken leg quarters, skin down, and brush any leftover marinade.

    Set the timer to air fry for 20 minutes at 350F(180C)and air fry the chicken quarters.

    At the 10-minute mark, flip the chicken leg quarters, brush oil with any leftover marinade and continue to air fry for the next 10 minutes.

    If you want crispier chicken quarters, flip them back so the skin side faces up, brush oil and air fry for another 3 minutes.

    I cut the garlic and onion powder in half. My package of chicken only had two drumsticks and 1 thigh so I didn't need the full amount and accidentally forgot the pepper. I used the rest of the seasonings as stated and cooked it as stated and it was amazing! The flavors were perfect and the chicken was so tender! Thank you for this simple yet delicious recipe!
