RECIPE DIFFICULTY-EASY

No-bake Condensed milk chocolate fridge cake

Please make sure to read the recipe instructions carefully to avoid mistakes.

Ingredients.

Ingredients mentioned below use standard measuring cups and spoons.

1 can of condensed milk(390g)

1 and 1/2 stick butter(110g, in cups this equals to about 1/2 cup and another 1/4 cup)

1 cup of chocolate(225g, you can use cooking chocolate or chocolate chips, I have used milk chocolate, for a deeper taste you can use dark chocolate).

25-30 biscuits(digestive, Marie biscuit or any other type of milk biscuit of your choice.

Method

Line a loaf tin or a small baking tin with foil and lightly grease with butter. set aside

How to make the chocolate biscuit cake.

Break the biscuits(25-30)into a large bowl.

Add chocolate(1 cup or 225g), butter(1 and 1/2 stick) condensed milk(390g) into a pan and gradually increase the heat to low-medium.

Stir and melt the chocolate and combine all the ingredients.

Cook between 3-5 minutes until the condensed milk gets slightly thicker than it was.

Pour the chocolate-condensed milk mixture over the biscuits and stir until combined.

Refrigerate the chocolate biscuit cake for 6-7 hours or until it sets.

Once the no-bake cake is set, remove the pan from the fridge,  remove the biscuit cake as it is and peel off the foil.
