- Handful of curry leaves(optional)
- Raw peanuts with or without skin.

Place a large, frying pan or skillet on the stove over low-medium heat.
Heat the pan for 20 to 30 seconds and pour in the oil or butter.
Let the oil heat and add the sliced onions, dried red chillies, curry leaves and fry them for 1 minute.
Add the raw peanuts to the pan with the onions and the dried red chillies. spread them evenly over the pan.
Mix and combine continuously to avoid burning.
Depending on the heat used, the peanuts will take about 10 to 12 minutes to roast.
As they roast, season them with salt and red chilli powder.
Taste and check if the peanuts are cooked, you will notice if the nuts are still raw or roasted.
